The Bluegrass State Skills Corporation provides new or expanding manufacturing companies incentives to offset training costs.

• Reimbursement for 50% of an employer’s eligible costs for training from entry level to advanced, including retraining and occupational and skills upgrading
• Customized training program that can be provided by educational institutions, training consultants or the company’s own trainers
• Funds to be used for curriculum development, instructor fees, instructional materials, and training equipment
• Reimbursement of 50% of eligible travel costs for company employees that must be sent outside Kentucky or the U.S. for training as instructors

The maximum amount of credits is based on $500 per Kentucky resident employed in a full-time position and may not exceed $100,000 per company within a two year period.
